London is about to
open up yet another hotel in none other than the Sea Container House on the
South Bank. Sandwiched between the Oxo Tower and the Blackfriars Bridge, The
Mondrian London is to open is doors on the 30th September with a
nautical inspired elegance.
Tom Dixon, the
design director has taken inspiration from the transatlantic 1920’s (which
let’s face it…we all adore) to the quirky 1980’s to create this unique addition
to the now global hotel chain.
The hotel boasts a
luxury cruise interior, mesmerizing sea views, a tranquil spa and fitness area, private screening room and bars and restaurants that are to become destinations of their own. With a
talented team of chefs and cocktail staff run by New York culinary expert
Seamus Mullen and cocktail fanatic Ryan Chetiyawardana, the Mondrian boutique hotel brings a taste of America to
London town.
It is also perfectly located on in walking distance of the Tate Modern, Borough market and the Southbank Centre for all of you visiting from outside London.
Think I’ll have to wear
something from our winter collection… best if you take a look too!
Until next time
Innu London
