A Summertime Fairytale

What a fantastic day Saturday was!! House of iKons you absolutely outdid yourselves. A huge thank you to all the fabulously beautiful models who walked for Innu London, the very talented hair and make-up teams, all the staff and volunteers and of course the incredible Savita Kaye.

Pretty pastels, charming chiffons and soft silks, Innu London opened the entire event with the latest ‘Summertime Fairytale SS15 Collection’ with a dress completely made out of ‘Selfies’. The dress was to be up for auction with the money going towards The Princes Trust. We have spent months gathering up signed polaroids of celebrities including Douglas Booth and Jamie Whinestone. It made quite a stir coming out to everyone's guilty pleasure - But first let me take a selfie -  #SELFIE!!

The audience seemed to love the collection (Thank goodness). How they effortlessly flowed down the catwalk accessorised with stunning diamonds from Mozafarian Jewellers, it is hardly surprising as you can see for yourselves...

Let’s just say BRING ON SUMMER 2015!!

Finally, I am delighted to announce that the House of iKons are taking us to Dubai for the launch of the official Dubai Fashion Week… but more on that another day.

But for now you can shop the winter collection.

Until next time

Happy London Fashion Week

With only 2 days to go, the Innu London team are frantically working every hour under the sun preparing for the most anticipated fashion frenzied event of the year, London Fashion Week.

As I’m sure you are well aware by now, we are opening the grand show for the House of iKons show in aid of The Princes Trust at the London Hilton Paddington at 3.30pm on Saturday, a charity very close to our hearts.
The Princes Trust helps struggling 13-30 year-olds who are unemployed or have problems at school. Many individuals the trust helps are homeless, have mental health issues or are in trouble with the law. It is heart-breaking to see young people with so much potential struggling their way through life and we could not be more honoured to be making a difference.

To show our dedication, Innu London have a cheeky surprise up their sleeve in order to raise some well deserved cash for this incredible cause. But unfortunately that is all I am allowed to say, so you will just have to come along and see for yourself…SHAME!

We are delighted to introduce the ‘Summer Fairytale S/S15 Collection’ to you adoring Innu fans. The collection boasts beautiful yellows, corals, turquoise and greens with hint of graceful grey here and there all handcrafted by the extremely talented Kimberley Melville-Smith in flowing chiffons and sensual silks. Not to mention the added touch of bling from our collaborators, Mozafarian Jewellers. The family run jewellery designers have allowed us to accessorise the evening dresses in the show with the most opulent diamond pieces. It is truly going to be an extraordinary lavish affair.

We are also delighted to announce that our very close friends from Seen in the City will be attending as well Andreea Pancuic, the brains behind the fabulous, Dreaming of Chanel.

If we’ve managed to get you as excited as we are and you STILL haven’t bought a ticket, you better purchase one IMMEDIATELY before it’s too late. We cannot wait to see you all on Saturday at 3.00 for some pre fashion show champagne and canapés. Make sure you book the afternoon show or you'll miss the Grand Opening.

Best get back to work now…

Until next time

A Diamond Fun Filled Evening

Last night the Innu London team were invited to a very lavish affair at the Mozafarian jewellers new collection launch in the heart of Knightsbridge. Their pieces are indescribably mesmerising, the cuts, the colours, the designs just oozed luxury. Kimberley and I were lucky enough to wear our own set for the entire evening that beautifully complimented our bespoke Innu London evening dresses. Kimberley wore pieces that included a stunning yellow diamond, an unique ear piece, necklace and ring. It is safe to say the girl had ALOT of attention…

I however, wore a delicate necklace matching bracelet and a fist sized ring.

We felt a little…lighter… after the event when we unfortunately had to give the jeweller back. But nonetheless we had an absolutely fabulous time wearing diamonds, eating smoked salmon canapés and drinking champagne (our favourite).

As I have previously mentioned, we will be collaborating with the family owned company. Just picture this, beautifully handmade evening dresses hand crafted by Kimberleys own two hands depicting the elegance and class that Innu London possesses with an added touch a diamond sparkle....the show will be truely magical and mesmerising.

Tickets are available here http://wwwe-tickets.com/event/house-of-ikons/. Remember to book the afternoon tickets as we are opening the whole show at 3:30pm (DEEP BREATHS...AND RELEASE).

In the meantime please visit our press page as Innu London have been so busy everyone seems to be writing about us at http://www.innulondon.com/pages/press

Have a great weekend, until next time,

London Fashion Week is only 8 weeks away and I think we all know how quickly that is going to come around. Kimberley (our head designer) has been designing every hour under the sun as she is sooo determined to out do her amazing success so far - the woman is a perfectionsit after all.

The show is being hosted by the ever glamourous Savita Kaye and her company House of iKons. Conceived in late 2011, it is a platform to help highlight new designers from around the globe. With the show taking place at the renowned London Hilton  Paddington on Saturday 13th September. Savita has travel the world far and wide in  search for the next best designers of our generation and Innu London has been chosen as one of 18 amongst an array of incredible talent. The event has already grabbed the attention of world wide press from CNN to Fashion TV and BBC World as well as very high profile guests and buyers that will be attending.

Innu London has been asked to open the entire show and I can not express how honoured we are so we thank you for this opportunity.

To add to the excitement, we are delighted to announce that we will collaborating Mozafarian jewellers who are creative diamond specialists. The company was set up in 1821 and has since escalated into the success. They created the most important example of 20th Century Islamic Art in Jewellery, which was exclusively exhibited, to royals and presidents in the 1960’s. Since then they have shown their exquisite pieces to royal families all over the world from their showrooms in London and in Dubai, which showcases their most opulent and superior pieces. Mozafarian jewellers are one of the world’s class jewellery businesses where a member of the original family still serves its customers.
