Grand Affairs at the Grand Prix

With news of our first ad campaign being launched in the Official Supercar Club Magazine next month and the Monaco Grand Prix coming to an end we have been researching the most exquisite places in the world to watch the F1 and this is what we found.

Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal, Canada

Situated on the Flueve Saint Laurent, the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve basks in the glory of Montreal. When the Grand Prix is in full force visitors can bring their bicycles and cycle round the entire track, kids and all. But when the Grand Prix is taking place we highly recommend paying a visit to the Montreal Casino which offers one of the widest varieties of games in North America. Make sure your dressed the part, try the elegant Kimberley dress for a night in the casino after a day at the F1. But be sure to book your tickets soon as the Montreal Grand Prix starts on the 6th June.

Circuit de Monaco, Monte Carlo

The most lavish of the F1 races began on the 22nd May through to the end of yet another bank holiday weekend. With the track winding through the curvy city streets and the famous harbours trip, it is not only the shortest of the F1 tracks but also the most dangerous…adding to the suspense. The Sass Cafe situated on the coastline on the grand ‘Avenue Princess Grace, not only offers a mix of traditional Mediterranean and Italian cuisine but also fills the air with beautiful live music that goes on into the early hours of the morning. The mystical place is internationally known for its exclusive parties. But if its not your cup of tea, theres plenty of super yachts, sun and sea to enjoy. And finally make sure you have your wardrobe sorted… we are sure Innu London can help you with that.

Marina Bay Street Circuit, Singapore

Singapore debuted their Marina Bay race track in 2010. Winding through the buildings of the beautiful island it is one of the most beautiful in the world. There is plenty to keep you and family occupied before and after the race from parks, boat rides, even a Ferris Wheel next to the track. The Marine Bay Grand Prix does not take place until the 19th September, perfect time to go as the weather is a lot cooler. This exclusive event has seen the likes of Sir David Beckham so make sure to dress to impress in one of our head turning dresses

Yas Marin Circuit, Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi and Yas Marin have been host to its individual F1 circuit since 2009. If you do one F1 event this year, this is the one to do. Not only is it is located in one of the most lavish places in the entire world but it is the only twilight race on the f1 calendar. Fans can experience the magic of a day - to - night race in a marina track setting so why not wear a day-to-night dress fully equipped with a authentic handmade snakeskin clutch to give the locals a bit of a green eye.

Wedding Fever

With Kim Kardashian having her fairy tale wedding to Kanye West in the romantic Florence and Poppy Delevingne marrying her prince in London last week and AGAIN in Morocco, the team at Innu London decided to we would pool together our favourite wedding dresses of all time.

Poppy Delevingne

Poppy looked ravishing in her handmade, couture Chanel wedding gown. And the best part is the removable train, leaving Poppy with the perfect number to dance the night away in at the wedding party.

Christina Ricci

Designed by Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy, the same as Miss Kim Kardashian, the head to toe lace wedding stress blew us away.

Sarah Jessica Parker/ Carrie Bradshaw

We can’t have a wedding dress list without including the astounding Vera Wang gown, Carrie wore on the Sex and the City Movie. Personally, I think the bird on the head makes the outfit…

Kristen Stewart/ Bella Swan

The stunning Carolina Hererra wedding dress with the overly long train and beautiful led lace back was worn in the 4th Twilight saga movie, ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 1’. The intricate detailing on the back and on the wrists makes it one of the most enviable dresses in our eyes.

The Duchess of Cambridge

When the Prince of Wales and Kate Middleton tied the knot in 2012, the wedding dress….and Pippa’s bum was the globally mesmerising. The dress that was designed by Sarah Burton, Creative Director of Alexander Mcqueen. is one of the most iconic designs and moments for this generation.

Some of the dresses, as I’m sure you’ve noticed, have low back covered in lace. Maybe Innu London will turn our signature backless dresses into lace backs one day...

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new hiring service. Customers can order a dress for a 2 night hire at an affordable price in straight off the runway fashion. Explore the range here at:

Until next time

Innu Shoot with Seen in the City

Hi there, my name is Natasha Colyer and I am Innu's Guest blogger. I am the editor of Seen in the City, an online fashion and lifestyle magazine which is to launch at the end of the month.  (Check us out on Facebook here https://www.facebook.com/seeninthecityltd).

Having fallen quickly in love with Innu's beautiful dresses, I decided a photoshoot was in order, and myself, my editorial assistant Ellie, Kim and Charlie as well as models Vanessa Tait, Charlotte Stuart and Jess Bass headed to the Old Crown Pub in Holborn where we had been lucky enough to be able to use one of their rooms for the shoot.

A backstage photo of me taking pictures of the models in the mirror

We decided on a simple hair and make up look - nude lips for the first looks, then red for the latter, a simple eye-flick and black mascara, with hair down and slightly ruffled. The location was great- very quirky and rustic but very elegant looking, just the perfect spot to go with the elegance and femininity of the dresses.

The models wear the red dresses beautifully
We first dressed all of the models in the red dresses as can be seen here- (the one on the far right is my personal favourite!) and got some fab shots. These dresses are great for that striking and elegant look, the same divine red in three unique styles, meaning whether you want a short or long garment, or high neck or low neck, Innu has something to suit.

Charlotte and Vanessa relax inbetween shots

The backs of the diamante dresses can be seen here- so gorgeous!
The second look consisted of three different black dresses, again each in different cuts and style. . These looked gorgeous and elegant, and again we got some great and creative photos. The back of the black dress has the most beautiful diamante neck strap which hangs over the shoulder as you can see and is unlike anything I have seen before.

It was with the black dresses we also style Innu's beautiful bags- a fabulous pop of colour for any outfit!
Here is Vanessa showing off Innu's beautiful pink clutch bag

Innu's clutch bags come in a number of colours, the perfect addition to any outfit

I adore the blue of this clutch bag- stunning!
Our final looks were Innu’s new tribal collection- their AW 2014. I adore the patterns and fit of these, being both flattering yet comfortable- something which is unusual in fashion. Each dress hugged each models’ figure flawlessly.
Editorial assistant Ellie Morgan helps Jess with her dress

The models wearing Innu's newest exotic collection
We got some amazing shots of Charlotte wearing the Feather dress here, (which Kim had sewn each feather in individually!) and I just love the creative nature of this dress.
This dress is so creative- I love it!
Each feather was individually hand-sewn!

The day was an immense success and we had so much fun getting to know Kim and Charlie better, as well as dress up in all their beautiful dresses and lust over their gorgeous bags! Seen in the City will be heading behind the scenes at another shoot next weekend, so watch this space!

Met Ball 2014

We are back! We do apologise that we haven’t posted for a while, we have been super busy but we are here today to deliver our best dressed list from the annual Met Ball 2014. The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute.
The fabulous Anna Wintour has been chair of the event since 1995 as well as holding the position of Editor-in-Chief for Vogue. The first gala was held in 1971 and has since snowballed into one of the most desired fashion events to attend of all time. Each year the ball is presented with a new inventive theme. Past themes have included Fashion Dolls to Punk Rock to Superheroes and this year highlighted Charles James: Beyond Fashion.

So here we go, our Met Ball best dressed list goes to:

Blake Lively
Our favourite gossip girl star looks angelic on this Gucci Premier Piece

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham never fails to nail her red carpet looks and this is no exception.
Lily Donaldson

Beautiful in Burberry. The bow detailing is absolutely perfect.

Rihanna

Rihanna was the belle of the ball in this custom made Stella McCartney two piece. The shoulder pads and neck detailing was perfect.

Georgia May Jagger
The Rolling Stone's daughter looks elegantly grown up in this simple black number.

Nicole Richie

Nicole Richies looks as gorgeous as ever in a very Innu London-esque Donna Karen design. The low back and diamontes are the signature Innu London look.

Discover the Innu London Diamonds in the Rough A/W 14/15 collection here.

Gisele Bundchen

The Victoria Secret Angel looks spectacular in a black Balenciaga gown.

Katie Holmes

Channelling her inner Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Katie Holmes sparkles in the Marchesa dress. Fit for a princess.

So there we have it! This years Met Ball....who knows maybe we'll be attending next year (fingers crossed).
