Out and About in London For Cocktail Week?

This week unites cocktail lovers across the city with London Cocktail Week 2014, seven days of parties, pop-ups and tastings galore. Over 200 of the best bars throw their doors open to celebrate capital's unrivalled cocktail culture. Our friends at Cafe Kaizen open their doors this week for a private party this Thursday; we have already had the chance to sample some of their cocktails and I have to say they do not disappoint, fresh, delicious and unsurprisingly moreish. Dress code cool and chic. One of these bad boys would go down well... (we will be getting the natural snake skin back in stock by November 20th - order now so not to disappoint)

Snake skin coloured clutch bags.

The Pink Ribbon Ball finishes the week off with a fundraiser event bringing together 400 of the UK’s business leaders, celebrities and supporters of the Breast Cancer Campaign. Red is totally in this season, so if you are going to the ball or any ball this season, or just fancy painting the town red and looking ravishing all at the same time be sure to check out our dresses on line; we have a wonderful service where we will come to you and bring a collection of dresses for you to try and buy if you like.

All in the Pink

October seems to be a busy busy month with the majority of Britain’s desperately trying to ‘Go Sober for October’, even we are giving it a go. But on a serious note, what we really want to talk to you about is Breast Cancer Awareness.

Breast Cancer is one of the most common forms of Cancer in the UK. Although, 12000 women die from the disease every year, 80% of 50,000 diagnosed are still alive 5 years later. This is all thanks to research development…it is truly inspiring.
Innu London took part in building awareness last year with a competition to win our Rose Pink handmade snakeskin clutch bag and donated 5% of our October profits to Breast Cancer Research.
Innu London supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month last year

Everyone seems to be doing their part to raise awareness including our favourite girl Kate Moss and your skimpy little pink number for the Stella McCartney campaign. Jameela and ex MIC star Caggie Dunlop also starred in a breast cancer campaign for the limited edition Tickled Pink collection.

This year we have even more pinky coloured items to offer you in aid of this wonderful cause. As we did last year we are donating 5% of our monthly profits to Breast Cancer Research so help us out and get shopping.

Mondrian Hotel London

London is about to open up yet another hotel in none other than the Sea Container House on the South Bank. Sandwiched between the Oxo Tower and the Blackfriars Bridge, The Mondrian London is to open is doors on the 30th September with a nautical inspired elegance.
The Mondrian Hotel on London's South Bank

Tom Dixon, the design director has taken inspiration from the transatlantic 1920’s (which let’s face it…we all adore) to the quirky 1980’s to create this unique addition to the now global hotel chain.
The hotel boasts a luxury cruise interior, mesmerizing sea views, a tranquil spa and fitness area, private screening room and bars and restaurants that are to become destinations of their own. With a talented team of chefs and cocktail staff run by New York culinary expert Seamus Mullen and cocktail fanatic Ryan Chetiyawardana, the Mondrian boutique hotel brings a taste of America to London town.

The most exciting thing is the rooftop bar with panoramic views…new hotspot for the Innu London team alert!! Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the weather keeps up a little longer so we can enjoy it before winter kicks in.

Panoramic views of London including St Pauls from the Mondrian Rooftop bar

It is also perfectly located on in walking distance of the Tate Modern, Borough market and the Southbank Centre for all of you visiting from outside London.

Think I’ll have to wear something from our winter collection… best if you take a look too!

A Summertime Fairytale

What a fantastic day Saturday was!! House of iKons you absolutely outdid yourselves. A huge thank you to all the fabulously beautiful models who walked for Innu London, the very talented hair and make-up teams, all the staff and volunteers and of course the incredible Savita Kaye.

Pretty pastels, charming chiffons and soft silks, Innu London opened the entire event with the latest ‘Summertime Fairytale SS15 Collection’ with a dress completely made out of ‘Selfies’. The dress was to be up for auction with the money going towards The Princes Trust. We have spent months gathering up signed polaroids of celebrities including Douglas Booth and Jamie Whinestone. It made quite a stir coming out to everyone's guilty pleasure - But first let me take a selfie -  #SELFIE!!

The audience seemed to love the collection (Thank goodness). How they effortlessly flowed down the catwalk accessorised with stunning diamonds from Mozafarian Jewellers, it is hardly surprising as you can see for yourselves...

Let’s just say BRING ON SUMMER 2015!!

Finally, I am delighted to announce that the House of iKons are taking us to Dubai for the launch of the official Dubai Fashion Week… but more on that another day.

But for now you can shop the winter collection.
