Fashion Night Launch with The Button Club held at Mason House

Last week we were asked by The Button Club to showcase our latest collection 'Exotic Cruise' at their new Fashion Night held at Mason House on 20th March 2014.

This new collection has been inspired by our head designers love for travelling. Her excursions from South East Asia, Africa and the rest of the world have influenced her animalistic taste into yet another 'to die for' collection. The clothes will be available to purchase from the website in a couple of weeks but for now, please visit our gallery page to see all the looks!

We are fortunate enough to have our incredible models standing by our side every step of the way, not only for our fashion shows but our new bi-monthly photoshoots, courtesy of the fabulous Deigh Alexander Smith and photographer Emma Holness. These shoots aim to share with you our vision and the Innu London lifestyle though various areas in the one and only London Town. The Jessica and Charlotte evening dresses were showcased during London Fashion Week were used in our latest shoot and are available to buy from our 'Straight off the Runway' collection.

Finally, Mother’s Day is back yet again Sunday 30th and what better way to treat that one and only special lady than with one of our handmade snakeskin accessories or clutch bags. Not only will her eyes light up with gratitude but she will be able to cherish her gift for years to come and maybe if you girls are lucky, hand it down to you…

Until next time

Artistic Insights

Yesterday, the Innu London team thought we’d get out the office and make the most of that gorgeous summer sun…all the while working, of course. We decided to broaden our horizons with some contemporary art to get some inspiration for future collections.

Our first stop was the ‘Bailey Stardust’ exhibition at the fabulous National Portrait Gallery. The magnificent David Bailey began his work in 1965 and is now showing an incredible 250 masterpieces, photographing celebrities in black and white against an empty background. Our favourites included our favourite Innu girl, Kate Moss and an a ridiculously oversized display of Michael Caine that in all fairness we are just simple envious at the fact we cannot fit it proudly in our office. And yet there is so much more talent to be seen. At only £16 per ticket, it is definitely worth every penny. So this weekend we highly recommend paying a visit to this mind-blowing exhibition. But it is on until 1st June so you have plenty of time if you already have plans.

After the National Portrait Gallery we headed to the ICA gallery for the Richard Hamilton exhibit which again was fascinating. With his work displayed in a floating formation it really caught the eye.

We hope that some of this work and ideas can be incorporated into our future collections and bring something new and exciting to the table for you all to enjoy. But until then, our worldy collection provides more than enough versatility and variety to get you through spring summer 2014.

For now, we hope you all enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend. Until next time

The Oscars 2014

The Oscars has been and gone again for another year and what a year it has been for the film industry! With spectaular cinema from the roller coaster that is Wolf of Wall Street and the stunning 12 Year’s a Slave not to mention to bambi like Jennifer Lawrence with her annual trip, the Oscars 2014 was a night to remember. However, we were rooting for Mr Leonardo DiCaprio to pick up his first Oscar but I guess there is always next year.

So let’s get to it…The best dressed 2014 at the Oscars.

5. SANDRA BULLOCK

The actress who starred in the 7 times winning picture, Gravity graced the red carpet in this beautiful midnight blue strapless evening gown. Innu London have two midnight blue options if you want to steal her colour style

Available soon from www.innulondon.com

4. JENNIFER LAWRENCE

Of course J-Law has to make the cut! As always the nominee pulls it off in a stunning Dior with dainty detailing round the neck… you will all know this is very Innu London and would be a perfect addition to our ‘Diamond in the Rough’ collection.

3. CHARLIZE THERON

Charlize Theron looked sensational in this deep cut black number last night. Want to copy her look for less? The ‘Kimberley’ dress will be available soon from www.innulondon.com with an added touch of sparkle.

2. MIRANDA KERR

Again channelling her inner Innu girl, Miranda shows off her Victoria Secret body in this low cut back and deep v gold dress…gorgeously glamorous. It is also extremely similar to our ‘Jessica’ dress so take your pick, grey or black.

1. KATE HUDSON

This was easy, absolutely no question in giving the number one spot to Kate Hudson. The only word to describe her in this dress is ravishing

So there you have it, the Innu London best dressed at the Oscar’s list of 2014. Keep watching our Facebook and Twitter pages to be the first to get your hands on our dresses straight off the runway.

Until next time
